Bessie Alma Toothman, age 91 of Farmington, WV, died Monday, Oct 10, 2016 after her residence. She was born May 10, 1925 at the #9 Coal Barracks at #9 in Farmington, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Lloyd Menefee and Hazel Blanche Ledsome Menefee.
She is survived by one son, Dallas Toothman Jr. of Farmington and several nieces and nephews. Bessie was the last surviving member of her family.
When she was able, Bessie enjoyed working in the garden. She attended the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Toothman, Sr. who died Nov. 11, 2011; 3 sisters, Glennie Rice, Gladys Cunningham and Dorothy Pasquariello; and a brother, Elmer Menefee, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. G. Patel and his staff and Roberta Hoy for their compassionate care of Bessie during her illness.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, Mannington, WV on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with Funeral services beginning at 12:00pm with Evangelist Craig Matheny officiating.
