Clifton J. Light Sr., 73 of Mannington, WV passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. He was born December 24, 1940 at North Fairfield, OH, a son of the late Clement Obet Light and Myrtle Ninevia Light.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Conrad Light of Mannington; a son, Clifton J. Light, Jr. of Oklahoma; a daughter, Michele Lynn Ealy and husband Gary of Jefferson, PA; a step-son, John Brian Nestor and wife Betty of Templesville, MD; a step-daughter, Cindy Summers of Fairmont; 4 grandchildren, Kayla Dawn Ealy, Travis Aaron Ealy, Clifton J. Light III and Riley Joe Light; 2 step-grandchildren, Natasha Myers and J.B. Nestor; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Pastor Light was preceded in death by his first wife, Vera Elaine Light who died May 31, 2003; a son, Aaron Light who died in infancy; 3 brothers, Ronnie Light, Clement Light and Harry Light; and 3 sisters, Helen Wilson, Carrie Malvane and Wanda Caswell.

Pastor Light was currently the pastor at Llewellyn Baptist Church, having served nearly 17 years and has been a pastor for close to 40 years. He enjoyed going out on a boat and fishing. He loved being with his family and loved talking to people about the Lord and Salvation.

Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Edward Woods officiating.
