Harvey Wayne “Bub” Roupe, Jr., 44, of Mohan’s Run, Mannington, WV, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 14, 1972 in Fairmont, WV, a son of Carolyn Sue Higgins Roupe of Mohan’s Run and the late Harvey W. Roupe.

He is survived by his wife Connie Stevens and her daughters, Julia Cain and Halle Carpenter; his three children, Austin, Hailey and Lauren Roupe; a sister, Mandy Little; two brothers, Michael Roupe and Jeff Roupe; two brothers-in-law, Terry Jones and Nathan Stevens; a sister-in-law, Chrissy Stevens; former in-laws, Barry and Jenny Stevens; nieces and nephews, Kaitlin and Morgan Dupont, Kayce Destenie Roupe, Elizabeth Jones, Mikaela Little, Karabeth Little, Bryon Little, Karlei Stevens, Brady Stevens, Allison Stevens, Abrianna Stevens, Trenton Stevens and Ryder Stevens.

Bub was preceded in death by a sister Shelly Jones; a nephew, Tyler Stevens; his former wife, Shirley Baker Roupe, and a granddaughter, Shayna Baker.

Bub was an electrician and a cement truck driver and also a surface coal miner. He was a woodworker and enjoyed building things. He was a Methodist by Faith and family man. His nickname with his children and him was “squirrel man”. He really enjoyed driving tractor trailer with his father across country.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, Mannington, WV on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 beginning at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Higgins Cemetery in Camp Run.
