Janice Emmaline Bishop, 76, Farmington, WV, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at St. Barbara’s Nursing Home in Monongah. She was born June 16, 1938, in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Floyd Pierson and Bessie Fluharty Pierson.
Janice is survived by 3 children, John Longwell and wife Susan of Norton, Ohio, Donna Riggs and husband Larry of Fairview, WV and Texa Boyce and husband Ronald of Farmington, WV; 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Pierson and wife Carol of Lordstown, Ohio; one sister, Tina Yost of Mannington; 3 sisters-in-law, Betty, Tammy and Gracie; 2 brothers-in-law, Donald and David; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Janice was met at the pearly gates by her oldest son, Earnie Lonwell, oldest daughter, Emmajean Wolfe, and son-in-law, Thomas Little.
Janice loved playing cards, listing to country music, attending church and spending time with her family.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. Mannington on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 from 3:30-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Mannington Church of Christ on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Evangelist Dr. Michael P.
