Jeffrey Jay Thomas, 48, of Metz, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 3, 1966 in Warren, Ohio, a son of Judith Ellen Lehew Thomas and the late James Lawrence Thomas.
He is also survived by his daughter, Rachel Shaunee Thomas of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Thomas, a brother, Gregory Benton Thomas, and a sister, Shelly Lane Groat.
Jeff was a Volunteer Fireman at Barrackville VFD. He is survived by his dogs, “Ham Bone” and “Rocky”. He worked at odd jobs for people. He loved country living and joking around and enjoyed having fun. He was an avid fisherman.
There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral services. At Jeff’s request, cremation was chosen as his final disposition. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com.
