Kathryn “Katie” Marie Yost, age 75 of Farmington, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at West Virginia Ruby Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born January 11, 1942 at Wellsburg, WV, a daughter of the late Jesse Andrew Ennis and Vivian Elnora Sanders Ennis.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Kelly Lynn and Steve Martonosi of Mannington, and Cindy and Brian Kuhn of Mannington; 3 grandsons, Alex Martonosi and girlfriend Alexandria Pavelko, Caleb Kuhn and girlfriend Christa Tobin, and Hunter Kuhn; a sister, Marcie and Darell Toothman of Buckhannon, WV; 2 sisters-in-law, Barbara Yost of Midland, NC and Doretta Yost of Hannibal, OH; a brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Kathy Lough of Chardon, OH; a brother-in-law, Archie Lee Rowand of Idamay; an aunt, Freda Ennis of Wellsburg, WV; several nieces and nephews; 2 special granddaughters, Amanda Dudash and Nicole Guthridge.

Katie was preceded in death by her husband James Carl Yost who died June 22, 2010, and a son, James Andrew Yost.

Katie was employed and retired from Marion County Board of Education with 34 years of service as a secretary in the Central Office. She was a member of the Mannington Church of Christ having served as treasurer. She enjoyed drawing and calligraphy, listening to audio Bible and her whole life was centered around her grandsons.

The family would like to thank Dr. Katragadda and staff for their care of Katie over the years and also thanks to lifelong friends Merle and Alberta Toothman, Rob and Cheryl Leasure, and Barbara Cole.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington WV on Friday, June 2nd, from 2-8pm in the funeral home and also 11am-12pm on Saturday, June 3rd. Following the visitation on Saturday, Katie will then be taken to the Mannington Church of Christ where she will lie in repose with the casket closed from 1-3pm with funeral services beginning at 3pm with Dr. Evangelist Michael P. Reese and Evangelist Rick Tincher officiating. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmington. Online condolences may be made at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com
