I am so sorry about your loss. I read the Obituary for Mrs. Fincham, and she sounded like a very nice lady. I know that it's hard for you. But I'd like to share with you something from the Bible, that I have found comforting with dealing with the loss of a loved one.

It's in the book of Job 14:14, 15. which says: "If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service Until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the the work of your hands."

So like the scripture asked, If a man dies CAN he really live again? Well, as we can see, in the other part of the scripture, The ones who have died, are asleep, and are waiting for the day when God calls on them to wake up from death, and they will answer him, and wake up. Jehovah god is waiting for that time when he will call them and wake everyone who have died up back to life. (John 5:28,29)
