Larry Rudolph Hibbs, 61, of Mannington, WV, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at Fairmont General Hospital. He was born January 30, 1953 at Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Wilbert “Rudy” Hibbs and Vivian Izora Wells Hibbs.
Larry is survived by his three children, Tina Anderson Thorne of Katy, WV and Larry Rudolph Anderson of Katy, WV and Larry R. Hibbs, Jr. of Fairmont, WV.; two sisters, Mrs. William C. (Karen Sue) Porter of Farmington and Linda Darlene Mays of Rachel, WV; one brother, Randall William (Debbie) Hibbs Sr. of Akron, OH; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Harold “Crook” Mays and one nephew, Harold Mays II.
Larry was previously employed at Ruskins in Fairmont. He enjoyed being outdoors and working around in the yard. He was a Protestant by Faith.
The Family would like to Thank Mon General Hospital, Fairmont General Hospital and Genesis Wishing Well for the care given to Larry during his illness, as well as Fred and Shirley Hibbs for helping look after Larry and taking care of his animals.
Family and Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, WV on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 5 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
