Mary Jane Efaw

Mary Jane Efaw, 48, of Farmington, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at West Virginia University Hospital.  She was born June 22, 1968 in Charlotte, Michigan, a daughter of Mary Ruth Eddy Efaw and the late Harold Wayne Efaw.
She is also survived by her 3 sisters, Beverly Efaw of Farmington and her fiancé Claude “Hot Rod” Starrett, Tammy Sue Dye and husband Keith of Dalton, OH, and Belinda and Philip Riggs of Mannington; 2 brothers, Charles G. Efaw and wife Ashley of Mannington, and Dwayne A. Efaw and wife Joann of Fairmont; a step-brother, Matthew Carpenter and wife Vicky of Mannington; 2 great aunts, Martha Holcomb of Mannington and Judy Channel of Worthington; and an uncle, Ronald Covey of States Fork.
 
In addition to her father, Mary was preceded in death by grandparents, Walter Glenn and Ruth D. Efaw and Clarence and Nettie Eddy; 4 aunts, Catherine Reger, Dessie Covey, Dorothy Brown and Nadine Carpenter; 3 uncles Clarence Eddy, Edwin Eddy and Larry Carpenter.
 
Mary liked playing cards, watching TV and writing and coloring.  She also enjoyed petting her rabbit, holding her dachshund “Bear” and watching birds.
 
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, Mannington, WV on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6-8pm.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 beginning at 11am in the funeral home.   Burial will follow at the Dudley Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Claude Starrett, Charles Efaw, Jade Hardman, Dwayne Efaw, Mike Gump, Hershel Reger with alternates being Charles Jones and Josh Wright.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.  On-line condolences may be left at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com
