Rebecca Sue Greathouse, 62, of Mannington, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at her residence. She was born December 30, 1954 at Gassaway, a daughter of the late Guy L. Warner and Clara Jean Linkous Warner.

 

Rebecca is survived by her husband, John Watson, of Mannington, her daughter, Sharon Kay Woods, of Cameron, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild on the way, 2 sisters, Debbie Alderman, of Gassaway and Lisa Lambey, of Flatwoods, 2 brothers, Guy Warner, Jr. and James Warner, both of Gassaway. Also surviving is her father and mother-in-law, John R. Watson Sr. and wife Patricia, of Mobley, sister-in-law Cindy Payton (Mike) of Toronto, Ohio and daughter Megan,  brother-in-law Gary Watson (Julie) of Mobley and son Zack, good friends Rodney and Beatrice Hayes, of Mannington and several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her son, Charles Edward Greathouse.

 

Rebecca was a certified nurse’s aide and was formerly employed at Wishing Well in Fairmont.

 

Friends and family will be received at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 2:00-6:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow as that was Rebecca’s wish for final disposition.
