Sherry Edith Payne Deavers, 76, of Mannington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV. She was born May 22, 1938, in Slatyfork, WV, a daughter of the late John (Hib) and Nola (Good) Payne of Shinnston, WV.

She was united in Marriage to Harold Deavers on January 26, 1957. Her loving husband survives her and resides in Mannington, WV. Sherry is also survived by her sons, David and Scott Deavers, both of Mannington, WV and Paul Deavers and his wife Rhonda of Enterprise; her daughter, Robin Corsini and her husband David of Clarksburg. Additionally, she is survived by 6 grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Boone, both of Clarksburg, Scotty and Lexi Deavers of Mannington, Devon and Madison Deavers of Enterprise; one step-granddaughter, Anna Corsini Tunnell of Parkersburg and 2 step-great-grandchildren, Anthony and Gia Corsini of Clarksburg; 3 brothers, Lloyd Payne of Warren, Ohio, Carl Payne and wife Edna Rose of Bingamon and Kenneth Payne of Wyatt, WV; and one sister, Jane Palmer of Warren, OH.

Along with her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Jeri Baldwin and Eleanor Riblett, and 2 brothers, John and Wayne Payne. Sherry was a Methodist by faith and had a successful antique business that she worked with her husband Harold. She loved and was loved.

Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St. Mannington on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 2-4:00 pm and 6-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.
