Joyce Ann Fluharty, age 68 of Mannington, WV passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born October 13, 1950 in Mannington, WV the daughter of the late Francis and Bessie Starkey Fluharty.
She is survived by a son, Carey Fluharty and daughter-in-law, Kathy Fluharty of Rachel; a daughter, Tonya Shaver of Mannington; and a very special grandson, Logan Fluharty. Also surviving are two brothers, Gary Fluharty and sister-in-law Beverly Fluharty of Rachel, Allen Fluharty and sister-in-law Jan Fluharty of Mannington; two sisters, Crystal Rowand and significant other Robert Hillberry of Fairmont, and Sheila Earl and brother-in-law Gary Earl of Curtisville; 5 grandchildren, Travis Fluharty of Rachel, Cody and Faith Shaver of Worthington, Chelsea and Brenton Starsick of Mannington, Courtney and Tommy Bowen of Morgantown, and Logan Fluharty of Mannington; four great-grandsons who she loved so much, Benson and Carter Starsick, Easton Shaver and Ryker Fluharty; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil Fluharty, Raymond Fluharty, and Roger Fluharty; two sisters, Kay Jones and Sharon Minor; and a daughter, Shelly Fluharty.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, Mannington, WV on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 2-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 1:00pm with Pastor Lee Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Viewpoint Cemetery in Rachel.
