Larry Eugene Tanner

Larry Eugene Tanner, 73, of Hundred, formerly of Mannington, died Wednesday, Jan 18,2017 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. He was born April 13, 1943 at Mannington, a son of the late Raymond Eugene and Ada Mae Gray Tanner Hoy.

He is survived by his wife: Angel Elaine Tanner, of Pierpont Center, a sister: Sue Schapperle of Tittsfield,NH., three nephews,  several cousins and two step-sons: Richard Woody Reynolds of FL and William "Bill" Reynolds of Littleton,WV

Larry served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He had worked at the former Galis Manufacturing Co .  He was a member of the Mannington Church of the Nazarene.

He was preceded in death by his first wife: Nancy McCoy Tanner, a brother and sister-in-law: Terry Wayne and Jane McCoy Tanner, two nieces: Susan Jane and Patricia Mae Tanner.

Family and friends will meet at  noon at Viewpoint Cemetery, Rachel  on Monday, January 23, 2017  for graveside services at 12:00 noon  conducted by Pastor James Ellis.

So very sorry to read of the death of Larry Tanner. He was a wonderful person and a long time friend. Enjoyed the many conversations we had over the years. Larry will be missed by many. Our prayers are with his family.
