Lula Belle Knight, age 89 of Mannington, WV passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024. She was born May 10, 1934 at Seven Pines in Mannington, daughter of the late Charles Rex Barr and Mabel Powell Barr.
She is survived by two children, Kenneth Dale (Cynthia) Knight of Metz and Robin Lynn (Robert) Strader of Bridgeport, 8 grandchildren, Heather Straight, Jason Stout, Amanda Knight, Bruce Knight, Anissa Neubauer, Jared Knight, Mitch Strader and Seth Strader, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother Nelson (Virginia) Barr of Wana, WV, her sister Sue King of Pine Grove, WV, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lula Belle was preceded in death by her husband Winford Hamilton Knight who died September 10, 2020, her son Chuck Knight, her daughter Theresa (Dale) Stout, and three sisters, Josephine Efaw, Juanita Williams and Jean Wright.
Lula Belle was a homemaker who truly took care of her family. She loved the outdoors and spending time with her family!
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 4-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday in the funeral home beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Bill Coon officiating. Interment will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
