Pat graduated from Mannington High School in 1956. He was a brick layer by trade. He was a fifty-year member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Union Local #15. He worked for several companies and on many buildings in the area.
Mr. Morris was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. His visits with his brother, Albert, were priceless to him. He enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles and was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, Chapter B of Clarksburg. He loved animals and adopted many strays and fed the birds and wildlife in his neighborhood. He leaves behind two beloved pets, his cat Buddy and his dog Maddie, adopted from the Humane Society. He took long walks with his pets, in all kinds of weather, until he could no longer go. He spent many hours watching cowboy movies, the news, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and West Virginia Mountaineers on television.

Condolences
Sending our deepest sympathy. Pat will be greatly missed. Remembering you in thought and prayer.
Sue, Prayers for you & family during this difficult time. Glad I stopped by this past summer to visit. A lot of good memories. Pat was alway a happy man. God Bless.
Pat will always be in our hearts and memories. Love and prayers to Karen 'Sue', Vicki and Scott.
Mark and Michelle, you were so blessed to be loved by Pat. The Grandsons have some stories to share someday about this 'special' man who loved his family, friends and many adopted pets. It takes a special person to have loved the unwanted.
Our love and prayers are with you throughout the days ahead. Love, Alan and Judy and family.
There can never be another Pat Morris. To know him was to live, laugh, and love. His sense of humor throughout his life brought laughter continually. His strong will to live was proven by the length of time he spent fighting this disease. Pat gave his all to Karen 'Sue' and his children, Vicki and Scott throughout the years until they married Mark and Michelle. Then came the grandchildren and great-granddaughter he loved so much. Alan and I have fond memories of the many years of being a part of his family. Our children, Cindy, Brian, and Tracy loved their Uncle Pat. We are going to miss you Patrick. Your voice will always echo in our heads. Your kindness will always remain a part of our life no one can take away.... Memories of a man who 'loved' life and fought to live as long as the Lord allowed. Rest in Peace Patrick....With love, Alan and Judy.
Susie, I'll do my best to be there. Skitzy

I know it was long illness and that he fought the good fight. Blessings and prayers to all the family.
Pat was a good neighbor and a great help to my mother, Jean Efaw, for as long as he could. I got to know him some in his latter days. I used to tease him about having so many clothes on. I would have shorts on and he would be all wrapped up. About a year and a half ago, I had a low blood sugar at moms. Pat knew what to do and had me coming to when the Rescue Squad arrived. I would tell him he saved my life. He was very humble. The last time I really talked to him was on my mothers patio. It was right after her 90th birthday. Pat, with a great effort, brought her a birthday card. He was worn out and needed to set. We talked for a bit and when he was ready to go, he needed help to get up. I said;" Pat, you saved my life, of course I'll help you up." He said, " Well, now we're even." He was a good man. Larry Efaw

We were very sorry to hear of your loss. We used to see Pat walking (uphill!) and Bob has been telling me stories about working with him years ago. A remarkable man.
Rest in Peace Pat. Your long hard fight is over and you can finally be pain free. I pray that Karen and the rest of your family finds peace and comfort in this difficult time. May God Bless your soul and keep your family near him at all times.
