Sue E. Snyder, age 68 of Mannington, WV passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at her residence. She was born July 8, 1955 at Fairmont, WV a daughter to the late Charles Franklin Snyder and Anita Luise Heller Snyder.

She is survived by her son Robert “Bob” Allen Jackson and his father Richard Jackson, both of Mannington, his great-niece Anita Ann “Snookaputzy” Snyder of Mannington and her companion Rick Walls of Fairview, niece Jeannette Lynn Shaw of Mannington, great-nephew Stone Cole Sampson, great-niece Shannon Nicole Sampson, great-great-nephew Morrison Cole “The Little One” Sampson, all of Lumberport, nephew Sean David Snyder and wife Samantha of Wallace, great-nephews Cameron, Aston and Brenton Snyder, and James Swiger, and great-niece Destiny Snyder, all of Wallace.

Sue is also survived by her life-long friend Denise Fridley of Mannington.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brother Richard William Snyder and her sister Centa Ann Snyder Shaw.

Sue was a graduate of Dennison High School in Dennison, Texas. She loved farming and was a caretaker to many in the family.

There will be no funeral home services as cremation was Sue’s choice for final disposition. Interment of her remains will be held at Elizabeth Mason Cemetery in Joetown at a later date at the convenience of the family. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
