Jerry Owen Covey, age 86 of Mannington, WV passed away February 9, 2025 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1938 in Rachel, WV a son of the late Lloyd L. Covey and Mary Elizabeth Gray Covey.
He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Cahill of Copperhill, TN, his brother Ronald Covey of Mannington, and his aunt Stella Lovett of Metz.

Perry Ray Thorne Sr. of Mannington was reunited with his brothers in Heaven on January 29, 2025, surrounded by family. Perry was born on to the late William P. Thorne and N. Louise Thorne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers William (Bill) Thorn, Lewis (Pete) Thorne, and Robert (Bob) Thorne.

He was a 1965 graduate of Mannington High School and a 1972 graduate of LaSalle University College of Law of Philadelphia, Pa.
