Albert James Kyle Jr.

   Albert James Kyle, Jr., age 70, of Hundred, WV passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born on June 22, 1950 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late Albert James Kyle, Sr. and Irene Pauline Williams Kyle.

   Albert is survived by his wife Dorothy Durbin Kyle, to whom he has been married to for 35 years; his daughter Ashley Finnegan Starcher of Meadowlands, PA, and his son A.J. Kyle III of Fairmont; two granddaughters, Miss Audrey and Katherine Victoria; one sister, Adza “Jean” Tustin of Hundred; and a nephew, Jeff Tustin of Hundred.

   In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his brother who died at birth Aaron Kyle, and his grandmother Nellie Williams, who helped raise him and gave guidance throughout his life. Albert was a graduate of Hundred High School, Class of 1968. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam era on the USS Constellation and was a member of the American Legion Post #40 in Hundred as well as the A.F. & A.M. Masonic Lodge in Hundred. He was also member of Local 798 Pipe Liners of Tulsa, OK with 40 years of service. He was an avid Mountaineer fan as well as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed photography, hunting and fishing. Albert was Baptist by Faith.

   There will be no public visitation or funeral services as Albert had chosen cremation as his final disposition. His cremains will be inurned at the convenience of the family at a later date at the WV National Cemetery in Grafton where full Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Navy and The Marion County Veterans Council.
