Angel Elaine Tanner, age 78, Mannington, WV passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at St. Barbara’s Memorial Nursing Home in Monongah. She was born January 21, 1941 at Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Woods Hayes and Opal Marie Staggers Hayes. She is survived by two children, William Scott and Michelle Reynolds of Hundred, WV and Richard Woods and companion Jennifer on Florida; step-children, Bryce and Sheri Reynolds of Plum Run and Linda Cain of Mannington; 6 grandchildren, Raegan, Reese, Rosalie, Matthew and Zachary Reynolds and Shawn Cain, and 1 great grandson, Noah Reynolds. In addition to her parents,  Angel was preceded in death by three husbands, Richard Scott Reynolds, Gerald Batson and Larry Tanner; a sister, Marjorie Hayes; and an adopted son, John David Batson, a step-son, James Reynolds and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Staggers. Angel worked in Home Health Care and took care of lots of people and had worked at St. Barbara’s. She also had sold door-to-door Bible Stories Book as a salesperson. She attended the Nazarene Church in Mannington. She enjoyed crocheting, nature walking and bird watching. She also enjoyed traveling, reading her Bible, going to Smoke Hole Caverns, deer hunting, fishing and gardening. Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with funeral services beginning in the funeral home at 12pm with Evangelist Earl P.
