Connie Robinson

Connie Louise Robinson, age 67 of Fairmont, WV passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at her residence. She was born January 20, 1956 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Carl William Ashley and Helen Lorane Batson Ashley and Virginia Lois Rucker.

She is survived by her husband Herbert Robinson of Fairmont, her three children, Candy Misshalle Baker of Carolina, Joseph Carl “Joey” Baker and wife Pam of Mannington, and Jacqueline Lynn Rabideau and husband Ricky of Fairmont, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Connie is also survived by 5 siblings, Lonnie (Joyce) Ashley of Fairmont, David (Judy) Ashley of Carolina, Janet (Mark) Plachta of Farmington, Tammy Madey of Forks, SC, and Lisa Rash of Ill, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death 3 siblings, Mark Lynn Ashley, Brenda Parker and Jeff Batson, a grandson Isiah Spitznogle, and her fur-baby “Buddy”.

Connie was a homemaker who loved to needle-point. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren!

The family would like extend a Special Thank You to Courtney McKnight for her special care of their mother.

Cremation was Connie’s choice of final disposition. The family will receive friends at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 1-4:00pm with a Memorial Service beginning at 4:00pm with Evangelist Craig Matheny officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedysis Hospice of Clarksburg.
