It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Devon Ryan Deavers who died suddenly on October 27, 2023 at the age of 26. He was born on July 12, 1997 in Morgantown, West Virginia. Devon was employed at Rivian where he was a Senior Level 2 maintenance technician. He was known for his infectious smile and his hugs and he loved being surrounded by his friends and family! Devon also enjoyed riding, rebuilding cars, guns and being spontaneous.
He is survived by his parents Paul and Rhonda Deavers of Enterprise, WV, his sister Madison Deavers and her fiancé Hayden Nutter, his paternal grandfather Harold Deavers of Mannington WV, the mother of his children Alison Moore, his three children, Ryker Moore, Ryleigh Moore and Ryatt Deavers. Devon is also survived by tons of family and friends who love him and will miss him greatly!
Devon was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Sherry Deavers, maternal grandmother Betty McIntire, his uncle Fay along with many aunts and uncles.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 2-8:00pm. Memorial services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, November 9, 2023 beginning at 11:00am with James Laurita Jr. officiating. Cremation has been chosen as the final method of disposition.
