Donald Wesley McDougal, age 49 of Cunningham Run, WV who was reunited with his parents in heaven on Monday, October 10, 2023 at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born May 5, 1974 in Fairmont, WV to the late Rev. Donald Wayman McDougal and Shirley May Lowe McDougal.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his grandparents Okey Edward Lowe and Sybil Fay Fisher Lowe, and Durward Buel McDougal and Zana May Duncan McDougal, one sister Nancy Ann McDougal as well as several aunts and uncles.
Donald is survived by his fiancée Ada Ramsey, two brothers, Okey Buel McDougal and wife Jennifer of Idamay and Charles Robert McDougal of Adamston, one sister Chastity Jane McDougal Jones and husband Howard of Mannington, four nephews, Zack McDougal of Adamston, Alex McDougal of Idamay, Howard Jones of Mannington, and Edward Jones and wife Kaitlin of Mannington, one niece Chastity Derby and husband Carl of Mannington, and two great-nieces, Lily Derby and Maddie Jones, both of Mannington.
Donald was a wonderful person who was always there to help anyone who needed it. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing guitar and spending time with his family and friends. He had worked several jobs over the years including being a head baker at Abruzinno’s Bakery but his favorite title was “Uncle”!
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 10:00am to 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Harry Holbert officiating. Burial will follow at the Robinson Cemetery on Big Elk.
