Emma Laverna Carroll, 65, of Lumberport, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 29, 1955 in Taylor Co., WV, a daughter of the late Charles Jerome White and Myra Louise Nestor White Barnett.
Emma was a homemaker. She was a caretaker of the elderly, loved playing bingo and loved her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Emma is survived by her daughters, Donna Mayle of West Union, Samantha Snyder (Sean) of Wallace, Crystal Copen (Roger) of Lumberport, her son Roger Carroll Jr. (Paula) of Lumberport, a daughter-in-law Carla Goldsmith of Shinnston, 25 grandchildren, Charles Gill, Dakota Gill, Maverick Mayle, Rogetta Mayle, Megan Goldsmith, Faye Carroll, Michelle Tallman, and Brendan Swiger, Makenzi Tallman, Kaitlyn, Landon and Hunter Carroll, Brooklyn and Kirk Ferrill, James Swiger, Cameron , Ashton, Brenton and Destiny Snyder, Jacqueline Carroll, Roger Copen III, Star Jones (Robert), Cheyenna Copen, Kimberly Copen, 11 great-grandchilden and one on the way, 4 sisters, Carolyn White, Mary Gorbey, Ethel Varner, Patty Shepard (James), 2 brothers, Johnny Barnett and Emmett White, nieces and nephews Amy Klink, Karen Shore and Tammy Ford.
In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Carroll, 2 brothers, Jerry and Charles White and 3 sisters, Nancy Povega, Beatrice Gower and Jean Wyers.
Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 10-11 am with funeral services beginning at 11am with Pastor Alford Duncan officiating.
