   Icie Mary Belle Higginbotham Efaw, 83, of Fairmont, formerly of Deep Valley, Mannington, went home to be with the Lord at the Home Away From Home Assisted Living Facility in Grafton, WV. She was born June 13, 1935 at Seven Pines, Mannington, a daughter of the late Okey Lewis Higginbotham and Sarah Alice Stevens Higginbotham.

   Icie is survived by her daughter Pamela Lee Gooch (Mel) of Montana Mines, son H. Wayne Efaw (Kathy) of Fairmont, daughter Kimberly Ann Summers (Greg “Grizz”) of Fairmont, five grandchildren, Angela Jo Simon (Brian) of Columbus, OH, James Wayne Efaw (Ashley) of Fairmont, Autumn Lee Knight (Tobey) of Clarksburg, Megan Dawn Weese (Joel) of Fairmont, Jaron Michael Summers and companion Olivia Hawkinberry of Fairmont. Six great-grandchildren, Jaden Brook Efaw, Hannah Grace Efaw, Carter Ray Knight, Harrison Lee Weese, Morgan Lynn Weese, Berkley Jo Summers. Also surviving are sisters and brothers Pearl Sieburns, IL, Ralph David Higginbotham of AL, Jessie Johnson, Baltimore, MD, Katherine Dingus, Erie, PA, Joseph Higginbotham, AZ, and several nieces and nephews.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Lee” Efaw who passed away on July 26, 2011, a sister, Marie Monroe and a brother, Okey L. Higginbotham.

   Icie was a homemaker and was a member of The New Beginnings Worship Center in Fairmont. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She loved her family and her grandchildren very much.

   Family and friends will be received at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington, WV on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 2-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor H. Wayne Efaw officiating. Burial will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
