
Kathy Sue Wyckoff, age 61, of Fairmont, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born March 25, 1961 at New Martinsville, WV a daughter of the late Augustus Dale Shuman and Margaret Eileen Church Shuman.
Kathy is survived by her son, Joshua Aaron (Heather) Wyckoff of Fairview, two granddaughters, Madison Sillman and Olivia (John) Mayfield, four great-grandsons, Ashton Sillman, Braxton, Maverick and Mason Mayfield, one sister Jennie (John) Cassell of Mannington, nieces and nephews, LJ (Lena) Palmer, Andren Dye, Sam (Hannah) Price, two great-nieces, Britney (Eric) Host and Stormy Palmer, 2 great-nephews, Chance and Mark Palmer and one soon to arrive Ashton, several other nieces nephews and cousins, her cat Gibbs and a good friend Mae Coburn and several good friends from church.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her former husband, Harry Emerson Wyckoff Jr and a sister, Judith Lynn Palmer Mullens.
Kathy had attended Mannington High School and was a graduate with the Class Of 1979. She was member of the Zion Assembly Church of God in Idamay. She was employed at MVA Clinic and WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital as a clerk and a CNA and was a receptionist at the Fairmont Veterinarian Hospital in Fairmont and had worked as a cook at the Marion County Board Of Education.
The family will receive friends at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 E Main Street in Mannington on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor JJ Davis and Pastor Tom Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the K of P Cemetery in Hastings.

So saddened to hear of her death. Her sister Judy was my good friend growing up in Pine Grove. I remember when Kathy Sue and Jenny Rose were born. Prayers for the family.
