Loretta Joyce Fluharty, age 86 of Mannington, WV who passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at her residence. She was born September 15, 1938 in Daybrook, WV a daughter of the late Ernest James Tennant and Ester Virgie Reeves Tennant.
She is survived by four children, her daughter Tonya Fluharty Daft and husband Jack of Mannington, her son David Fluharty and wife Vickie of Indiana, PA, her daughter Lana Fluharty Jordan and husband Donald of Walkersville, WV, and son Matt Fluharty and wife Lynne of Middletown, OH. Loretta is also survived by eight grandchildren, Tasha Daft, David Fluharty II, Katerina Fluharty, Jonathon Fluharty, Makala Shappek, Tressa Shappek, Brandon Fluharty and Madilyne Fluharty, six great-grandchildren, Cowen Carpenter, Jedidiah Vance, Artimus Vance, Denailiza Vance, Gabriel Hall, her brother Richard Tennant of Fayetteville, WV, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her grandson Adam Daft, and four siblings, Everett Wayne Tennant, Alice Ruth Tennant Hinds, Robert Tennant, and Larry Blaine Tennant.
Loretta graduated from Clay-Battelle High School and was a “jack-of-all-trades” having worked for Seneca Glass in Morgantown, Westinghouse, cleaning houses and companies, the Library and as a home health care aide. She loved working in her flower beds and mowing the yard as well as going shopping. Loretta was a member of the Plum Run Methodist Church for many years and she also enjoyed being a part of the Early-Birds bowling team, Plum Run Homemakers Club and a Plum Run 4-H parent.
Family and friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street in Mannington, WV on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 10:00am to 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Randy Vincent officiating. Interment will follow at the Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Loretta. I enjoyed singing in the choir with her at the Plum Run United Methodist Church. Attending church with her wonderful children for many years. My love and prayers with heartfelt condolences to the family.
