Naomi Virginia Eddy, age 86 of Mannington, WV passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born October 28, 1935 at Baxter, WV, a daughter of the late Harold Francis Floyd and Sylvia Jane Kennedy Floyd.
She is survived by her 6 children, Sylvia Eddy of Mannington, Virginia (Sandy) Asaro of Bethlehem, PA, Jesse (Pat) Eddy Jr. of Milford, NJ, Sheila Eckard of Monessen, PA, Shirlee Eddy of Mannington, and Veronica (John) Drebes of Pine Hill, NJ; four grandchildren, Adam Asaro, Jessica (Vito) Gonzalez, Rebecka Eckard and Rachel (Erik) Barner; four great-grandchildren, Mason Asaro, Khalil Asaro, Julian Gonzalez and Jordan Michael Gonzalez. She is also survived by 5 brothers and sisters, Dewayne (Judy) Floyd Jr. of Surgeons Ville, NJ, Sadie Eddy of Belvedere, NJ, Warren Floyd of Union, NJ, Donna Perrine of Gainesville, GA and Leon Floyd; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
In addition to her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Dewayne Eddy Sr. who died in 2008; and four siblings, Glenda Cobb, Arlen Floyd, Ronald Floyd Sr., and Della Field.
Naomi was employed at Tri-Chem Home Party (liquid painting on fabric) and she was a member of the Rymer Methodist Church.
There will be no visitation or funeral services as cremation was her request as the final method of disposition. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In honor of Naomi, any memorial contributions can be made to any heart or cancer Research Organization of your choice. Donations may also be made to the Jesse & Naomi Memorial Garden Go-Fund me page. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
