On March 14, 2023, Rebecca “Becky” Snider Yoho, age 80 of Mannington passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Becky was born February 28, 1943 to her parents Edwin and Harriet (Shanks) Snider.
Anyone that has ever ordered flowers from the Mannington area has most likely enjoyed one of her many creations as she spend many years working with her family at Snider’s Florist and also operated her own flower shop, Denise Flowers, in Hundred. Becky went onto work at the Marion County courthouse where she retired from there.
After retirement, Becky could often be found at the Marion County Senior Center, or a friend’s house enjoying a good game of Canasta or Shanghai. She had a natural talent at crocheting and spent lots of spare time making afgans and baby blankets. She also “volunteered” at the Mannington Moose for several years. But Becky will be remembered most is her feisty attitude, her unmatched sense of humor, and her absolute dedication to her family.
Becky is survived by her only daughter, Denise Fridley, her grandchildren, that she raised as her own, Richard “Isaac” Mobley and wife Ashley and Brenna Hibbs and husband Fred, a special nephew Chris Lipscomb who she helped raise, her great-grandchildren Lundyn Mobley and Stone Hibbs, her siblings Jeanne Lipscomb, Carol (George) DelRosso, Ralph “Dud” (Rebecca” Snider, and Roderick “Rod” (Michelle) Snider, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Roy Fridley as well as several aunts and uncles.
In keeping with Becky’s last wishes was to be cremated and her ashes buried with her beloved dog Rosco. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 8th, 2023 at the Mannington Moose Lodge at 3:00pm with a dinner following. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements.

Becky was always a friend although we did not see each other very often. I know that she and the heavenly father are having a good conversation.
With deepest sympathy for your loss of Becky, she was always fun to be around. A prayer that the Lord will fill your days with loving memories and His peace brings comfort to your heart.
Aw, Jeannie and Carol, I was so sorry to hear of Becky's passing. My Aunt Stella called to let me know. I have so many memories working/playing/getting in trouble at the florist with you guys and Becky. She had the greatest sense of humor. She was one in a million to be sure.
Sue and I were so sorry to learn of the passing of Becky. From our younger days knowing Becky from Snider's Florist, the community, and the courthouse, she was one of our favorite people. Becky will be missed by us and so many others. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the family.
Brenna I’m sending hugs! So sorry!
