Russell “Rusty” Ronald Toothman, age 62, of Mannington, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. He was born November 1, 1962 in Fairmont, a son of Mary Ann Snodgrass Toothman of Mannington and the late Bobby Joe Toothman.

Rusty is survived by his sister, Judy (Doug) Myers of Farmington, brothers Allan (Robin) Toothman of Surry, VA and John Christopher Toothman of Williamsburg, VA and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Toothman.

Rusty was a graduate of North Marion High School as the first graduating class, ranking 10th in his class. He was formerly employed as a machinist at Fairmont Tool before becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He was very generous in helping others and loved his nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 10:00 am till 12:30 pm. He will be laid to rest at the Snodgrass Cemetery at 1:00 pm.

Rusty was my cousin and I am saddened to hear of his passing. I haven't seen him in a while but I was thinking of him. My condolences.
