Thomas Ray Williams, age 80 of Seven Pines, Mannington, WV passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 16, 1944 in Mannington, WV a son of the late George Williams and Loretta Moore Williams.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Marie Miller Williams, his four children, Ronald Tatgenhorst and wife Heather Doran of Byesville, OH, Bridget Shawn Howland of Shadyside, OH, Melissa Clark and husband John of Belington, WV, and Beverly Cline of Ohio, nine grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Bobbi Jo Smith, Kurstin Beck, Jessica Beck, Presten Beck, Collin Morgan, Abby Tatgenhorst, Katie Donnley and Jackson Clark, and six great-grandchildren, Jaron Groover, Kaitlyn Wright, Arliss Barton, Dayah Barton, Niko Barton and Xavier Barton. Thomas is also survived by his brother Wayne Williams of Weirton, WV, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter Jodie Ellen Smith, his brother Eddie Lee Williams, several aunts and uncles including Naomi and Howard Wyckoff, Alberta and Al Muto, Bertha and Walter Snodgrass and Don Lee Moore, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Thomas worked as a rigger at Weirton Steel Mill for many years and enjoyed hunting, gardening, canning, and bird watching. He was an avid reader who enjoyed history, learning about antique cars, and participating in the Pre-1840 War Reenactments as well as teaching people how to use a gun properly. Thomas a member of the Seven Pines Church and was a deacon at the church. He wonderful husband and father to all of his children!

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Thomas at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 1-2:00pm with the service beginning at 2:00pm with Thomas’s son-in-law John Clark officiating. Full Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Army and the Marion County Veterans Council. Cremation was chosen as the final method of disposition.
