William “Bill” Grady Morgan, age 77 of Mannington, WV passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Mannington, WV born June 11, 1947. He was a 1965 graduate of Mannington High School and a 1972 graduate of LaSalle University College of Law of Philadelphia, Pa. He also attended Fairmont State College and earned an Associate Degree from Cornell University in 1996. He was a
Notary.

Bill served in the United States Air Force for six years, including two years in Vietnam and was an active member and supporter of the Vietnam Veteran's Association. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the BPOE Lodge #388 of Mannington of which he served many chairs. He was employed by Allegheny Energy and other electrical contractors where he worked as a licensed electrician.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother Mary Josephine Southern Morgan, his father James Nimrod Morgan, his eldest brother Roy Glenn Morgan, and his brother James Frederick Morgan of Mannington. Bill was a descendant of Morgan Morgan.

He is survived by his wife Della Lee Booth Morgan, his daughter,
Trina Lynn Morgan Sturgeon and grandson, Glenn Grady Sturgeon.

Bill enjoyed collecting coins and veterans stamps during a lenghty illness. He was also in a band in which he played guitar of Beatles music of the 60's. His favorite Beatles song was, I'll Follow the Sun.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. There will be a graveside silent memorial at Bee Gum Union church cemetery at time of burial. He asked that no flowers be sent. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Bill’s memory may do so to the Elks National Home Scholarship program. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington has been placed in care of the final arrangements.
